Sweeping 160-degree-wide views of the magnificent, ever-changing Atlantic Ocean are yours to enjoy from inside this charming, 5 year old year 4 season, year round cottage with its huge wrap around deck and screened in porch. From time to time you can see surfers, seals, hang gliders, and whales and passing ships.
Want to relax at the cottage? There is the wrap around deck, screened in porch, lower level patio or pine shaded hammock to enjoy. Want to feel the sand between your toes? Walk 300 feet down to the ocean on a private path just outside your door to a private ocean beach.
High on a knoll in the National Seashore, this cottage is located on Wellfleet’s ocean side in a quiet nook just off Ocean View Drive between Le Counts Hollow Beach and White Crest Beach. It has private parking. Only a few other cottages are in view.
From the king master bedroom or twin guest room you can wake up to the sun rise and the surf rolling in and have your morning coffee on your deck or screened in porch.
The open living room, dining room and kitchen area have sliding glass doors that open onto the deck and offer spectacular ocean views. A gas fireplace offers charm and warmth in the spring, fall, and winter.
This is a two-bedroom, fully furnished cottage that sleeps 4-6. The first floor master bedroom has a king bed. There is a full bathroom with shower. In the walk-out lower level there is a bedroom with two twin beds, a separate full bathroom with tub/shower, a family room with a double bed futon for the occasional guest and a washer/drier. Almost every window has an ocean view.
Also, this cottage has a dishwasher, outdoor shower, an outdoor gas grill, cable TV, gas fireplace and central heat and a window AC. Towels and sheets are NOT PROVIDED. NO pets allowed. NO smoking inside the cottage.
Wellfleet’s freshwater ponds, restaurants, art galleries and other attractions are all just a few minutes away. Wellfleet is known as the Art Gallery town. There are wonderful restaurants to eat in that specialize in fresh seafood.There are tennis courts and a golf course. The National Sea Shore visitors’ center, Marconi center, and Audubon Wildlife center are popular attractions to visit. The bay and freshwater ponds are fun to swim in. One of the few drive in movie theaters in the USA is in Wellfleet as well as a fun flea market.
