In the heart of shopping, entertainment, and dining in Falmouth Village and only a little over a half mile to the beach! You never have to use your car (although there is an electric charger for electric cars)! The best location in town! Privately situated at the end of a secluded cul de sac, this home with landscaped gardens was recently updated throughout. Soak in the sun on your private patio in the garden, kick back in the completely fenced back yard, or head over to the beach about a half mile away to play in the sand (straight shot down Shore Street, with public restrooms and a food vendor at the beach). After a relaxing day at the beach, rinse off with the outdoor shower and then wander down the street for a meal at one of the wonderful restaurants, followed by ice cream or candies from a local shop, a Cape Cod baseball league game down the street (less than a mile away), or local live music or theater. This recently updated and renovated residence still has classic Cape Cod charm and is only a block away from the shopping, entertainment, and dining of Falmouth Village. The Black Dog Store, clothing stores, the public library, axe throwing and bowling, a bookstore, ice cream and chocolates stores, Sushi, a locally famous French patisserie, Italian, Greek, Indian, Thai, and other restaurants are just a stone's throw away. Rent bicycles at the Corner Store bike shop about a half mile away and meander down the nearby Shining Sea Bikeway with breathtaking views along the coast. Only about 1 mile to the Martha's Vineyard Ferry for summer day trips to Martha's Vineyard’s Edgartown or Oak Bluffs and close to public transportation. Private master bedroom and office/guest room on the second floor share one bathroom on the second floor (bathroom has a renovated tiled shower and a modern boat cabin style sink). The two bedrooms on the first floor share another full bathroom (including shower/tub combo) on the first floor. 2 Bunk beds (4 XL Twin beds) in one of the bedrooms on the first floor and a queen bed in the other bedroom on the first floor. Air conditioning in the home and each bedroom (and the office) has its own mini-split a/c and heat for individualized temperature control. Relax with a book in the sun room, in the hammock, lounge in the lounge chairs, or grill on the patio. Roast s'mores around the fire pit at night and play cornhole on the lawn. Washer/dryer for use in the basement. NEW: Bedside lamps added in master bedroom and one in queen bedroom (not shown in pictures). NOTE: Office bed is a low platform bed and office has sloping ceiling lower on front side the room (please see pictures).
