Classic Maine 3 season home on Big Sebago on Thompson's Point. This home has three bedrooms: master bedroom with queen size bed and master bath with shower, guest rooms with two twin beds in one, convertable to king size bed, the third bedroom offers sleeping for 4 guests. Special features not found in most lakeside cottages include:full size washer and dryer , microwave, dishwasher, and fieldstone charcoal grill in the kitchen. The living room is designed with family in mind with lots of comfortable couches and chairs complimented by a huge fieldstone fireplace. Fully heated, the house offers true comfort in all types of weather. Situated on a slight rise above beautiful and pure (it's the drinking water supply for Portland) Sebago Lake, the property is, literally seconds down the path to a beautiful beach. Relax on the beach, enjoy the purity of a swim in Sebago, jump off the raft, or just kick back with a good book. But, be sure to return to the house in time to enjoy a cocktail on the huge patio with lake views and the sunsets only the Lakes Region can offer. In addition to the indoor charcoal grill guests will find a Weber Gas Grill on the patio. New for season,2013,(and by popular guest requests), is the LINEN PACKAGE for those guests not wanting to bring their own linens and towels and face making up beds upon arrival. For an additional charge of $150.00, we will provide the following: Linens for all beds, 1 Bath towel, 1 face cloth, and 1 beach towel for each guest. Beds will be made up and ready -upon your arrival. Leave your worries and your sheets at home!
Initially built by the Shulman family in 1949, the house has remained in the family and will continue to do so. Four generations of Shulmans have 'grown up' on site, making memories to last a life time. The property has grown to 3 homes over the years maintaining the true character of the 'Classic Maine Cottage'.
Great shopping, entertainment, and sports activities are minutes away in the town of Naples, plenty of great eateries in the area as well. A 45 minute drive west will take you to North Conway New Hampshire and the White Mountain region, Travel 45 minutes east and you''re in Portland or Freeport. World famous Deertrees Theater is 30 minutes away.
