Enjoy morning coffee on either the balcony or scenic deck. This one floor unit has both stairway and ground level access. It contains a great room with soaring ceiling, compact kitchen, one bedroom and bathroom. Dock with a canoe is also available for use on beautiful nearby Burntland Pond. Walk to the theater, restaurants, galleries, shops, harbor and beach.

Summary: We loved our stay in Ron's cottage. The location was perfect, walking distance to town for an excellent rate. We were disappointed that neither the grill nor the propane stove were working when we were there, though we did not end up needing the heat at night. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very small, but functional. We did have to change plans as we had several meals in mind for the grill. If you plan to cook, be sure to pick up groceries on your way in, in Blue Hill. There are no grocery stores and limited restaurants in town. Two of us stayed in the extra room outside. This worked well for us and we were comfortable there, but it would not work for large adults or those with mobility challenges. This was a comfortable spot in a beautiful place. Would definitely consider returning on another trip to Stonington.
