This stunning Great Island home, with central air conditioning and indoor pool, is located in a tranquil, secluded setting yet less than a half mile to the beautiful beaches on Cape Cod Bay. Originally designed and built in 1952 by renowned architect Nathaniel Saltonstall, this mid-century contemporary in the International style has been completely remodeled and updated yet preserves the structural elements of the original house.
With multiple indoor and outdoor living and dining spaces, well-thought-out bedroom areas and a gorgeous indoor lap pool, this home makes for the ultimate vacation retreat.
Enter the central living area with glass doors opening to the courtyard patio/deck area and fabulous screened-in porch. There are multiple wings off this central living space. There is a den with sofa and flat screen television with satellite TV and satellite WiFi*. Beyond the den a hall leads to a bedroom with two twin trundle beds (total of four twin beds) and ensuite bath with custom tile shower. The washer/dryer is in the hall. Beside the washer/dryer is an exterior door leading to one of the home's two outdoor shower.
On the opposite side of the living area is a fully-equipped kitchen with island, counter seating and top of the line appliances. The kitchen opens to a large dining room with floor to ceiling glass overlooking the yard.
The primary bedroom, with king bed, has a large ensuite bath with custom glass walk-in shower as well as an exterior door to an enclosed outdoor shower. The bed faces large windows overlooking the serene backyard.
There is another bedroom wing with two bedrooms and two full baths. Each bedroom has a queen bed and door to the yard. One of the bathrooms has a shower and the other has a small soaking tub.
The awesome indoor lap pool (30 ft. in length, 3.5 feet deep at each end, 4 feet at its deepest) is located on the lower walk-out level. There is also a full bath with shower on this level. The spacious outdoor living area lends itself to dining, entertaining and relaxation.
Enjoy the beautiful beaches and walking trails of Great Island in the Cape Cod National Seashore or take in the picturesque town of Wellfleet and its restaurants, shops, galleries and live entertainment.

Upon cancellation for ANY reason, money will be refunded less a 20% service fee of the total rental amount due, ONLY if the property is re-rented for the same terms and conditions of the original Agreement. Tenant further acknowledges and agrees that where Kinlin Grover Compass undertakes to re-let the property, the rental fee to be charged to the substitute tenant shall be in an amount to be determined in the reasonable discretion of Kinlin Grover Compass and Owner. Tenant agrees that any cancellation of the reservation, undertaken at any time, shall not be effective unless in writing and delivered to Kinlin Grover Compass.
