Welcome to Summerwinds, a stunning waterfront retreat nestled in the picturesque coastal section of Scarborough, Maine. Pine Point Beach is considered one of the best beaches in the State of Maine. Our spacious 3700 square foot home offers immeasurable comfort and meticulous cleanliness, breathtaking water and sunset views, and direct access to the charm of a working waterfront. This newly built, architecturally gorgeous home is perfect for families, corporate retreats, weddings or other celebrations, or simply anyone seeking a peaceful, quiet, coastal Maine destination getaway. Enjoy spectacular views, open concept living and an expansive groomed lawn leading to our private sandy beach where you can relax and enjoy the water, wildlife and incoming tide. This property has so much to offer such as easy access to surrounding pristine white sandy beaches, fresh seafood restaurants, and local attractions all while enjoying watching lobster boats, shore birds, and the rhythm of coastal living in a quintessential Maine anchorage. Pine Point is close to Portland, Kennebunkport and Old Orchard Beach where there are many family fun activities to enjoy such as Funtown & Splashdown, and quaint coastal villages for shopping and many wonderful restaurants. We have spacious accommodations at Summerwinds which includes 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and a ground level handicap accessible bedroom and large wheelchair allowable bathroom. There is an external handicap ramp for access. There are multiple decks, covered and covered, with panoramic views to the west for the most amazing sunsets. We have a fully equipped gourmet kitchen wonderful for entertaining family and friends, a private office area in the master suite, and plenty of quiet spaces for lounging and taking it all in.

Hosts: Jennifer B. Anderson and Jeffrey P. Thurlow, MD. We are life-long residents of Pine Point. For Summer and Fall of 2025, Summerwinds is exclusively available with a few limited weeks remaining due to its popularity. Please submit an inquiry only and not an automatic booking as it will need to be declined. We prefer to have dialogue with our guests through the portal before they make a commitment. We discourage giving out your credit cards and booking until we communicate through the inquiry portal of the software. We want our guests to learn more about the property before they commit, and we like to get to know our guests as well. The software unfortunately blocks out contact information and audits these communications. We do want to be compliant with VRBO rules but can answer any additional questions you may have through their inbox.
ECONOMICS
Summerwinds is an elegant waterfront estate, meticulously cleaned and beautifully appointed. It is an expensive property to build and maintain. We wish we could make it more affordable for everyone. Families often share to be able to afford the weekly lease of $16,000. We apologize for any misleading marketing that is done on the home page on VRBO. We have tried to be open and transparent about the costs. There is an unfortunate, mandatory 9% Maine Lodging tax and other small cleaning and pet fees if applicable.
Summerwinds is an experience you will remember forever. There is a mooring and a brand new 18-foot family-oriented Lund boat with a 175 Mercury outboard which, for selected guests, can be potentially rented and can take out 6-8 people on to the beautiful Saco Bay. We are happy to share more of the adventures you can have in Pine Point and the surrounding area.
Harborwinds is the smaller cottage in the photo which, at this time, will not be leased in 2025. Conditions may change in the future, however.
