Our generously sized and thoughtfully styled home is the perfect getaway for families or groups. Our home has a main house with 3 bedrooms and also a separate 'granny flat' with a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
We have a private pool making it very easy to cool off in a South Australian summer. Our backyard is equipped with a newly built deck area complete with full shade, an outdoor dining set and outdoor lounge furniture.
The Space:
Please Note: Booking this listing means that you will have access to the main house AND the granny flat. There will never be any other guests sharing this space with you.
MAIN HOUSE
Bedrooms-
In the main house there are 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 guests, the sleeping configurations are as follows:
Bedroom 1 - Queen bed
Bedroom 2 - Queen bed
Bedroom 3 - Bunk bed
Bathroom-
The main house has a spacious bathroom equipped with a large bathtub and a large shower.
Living Room-
The loungeroom in the main house is a thoughtfully designed room with 2x 3 seat sofas, a coffee table and a large smart TV. The large window in this room is facing east, this makes this room a fantastic place to enjoy coffee in the mornings natural light.
Kitchen and Dining area-
The Kitchen is well equipped and is a great space to cook up a feast.
The open plan dining area right beside the kitchen can seat up to 6, there is a sliding door in the dining area that leads straight out to the deck where another 8 can be seated.
Laundry-
The laundry has a washing machine and dryer. We provide laundry detergent.
Alfresco/ Deck-
The main house and granny flat share a large deck. The deck is completed covered and contains a lounging area and a dining area. The deck is a perfect place to relax while watching kids/friends in the pool.
GRANNY FLAT
Bedroom-
The granny flat contains a spacious bedroom with a queen sized bed.
Bathroom-
Inside the granny flat is a bathroom complete with a shower, toilet and sink.
Kitchen-
The granny flat has its own well equipped kitchen containing: Dishwasher, oven, stove, kettle and microwave. Please note there is no fridge/freezer in the granny flat.
Dining/ Living area-
The granny flat has a open plan dining/ living room. The dining table can comfortably fit up to 4 people.
The Living area has a reclining 2 seater couch and a smart TV
RUMPUS ROOM
The large rumpus room is a large, safe area for kids to play. We provide lots of toys and children's books.
SYMONDS RESERVE (Park across the road)
Across the road is Symonds Reserve, this is a public park that contains a playground, skate park and dog park.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the WHOLE property. This includes the main house, granny flat, rumpus room and the private pool.
Guests are welcome to park cars in the double carport attached to the house. There is also additional off-street parking for a further three.
The Neighborhood:
Our home is located a couple streets back from the Esplanade at Aldinga Beach. 2 minute drive to one of South Australia's most beautiful beaches. A short 5 minute walk to Sicily Mare Pizzeria & Jimmies Takeaway and Pizza. Opposite to the pizza bars is a playground and BBQ area.
Another key attraction nearby is The McLaren Vale wineries, home to some of Australia's greatest wines.
Across the road is a large public park called Symonds Reserve equipped with a playground, skatepark and a dogpark.
Getting Around:
The bus route on Aldinga Beach Esplanade can take you to a variety of nearby locations, such as: McLaren Vale, Sellicks Beach, Willunga and Aldinga Central.
