Owned by a ship’s captain in the late 1800’s, this historic 5-acre estate was completely renovated between 2020-2023. With 850 feet of water frontage, it has rare westerly views and fabulous sunsets. Lounge on the deck with a book or grab a kayak or paddle board from the dock. A five-minute paddle under the Southport Bridge takes you to the iconic Robinsons Lobster Wharf for lunch or a cocktail on their pier. Or, you can venture just a few yards to the floating trampoline or the Boothbay Land Trust to take a hike. The master bedroom boasts a fabulous en suite bathroom and French doors leading to the deck, hot tub and outdoor shower. Upstairs, 5 unique bedrooms look out to the cove and the fabulous gardens. The fully-equiped gourmet kitchen boasts a fabulous Capitol Culinarian 6 burner-2 griddle gas stove and locally made Edgecomb Pottery dishes. You can even take a hike on the private trail that meanders through the woods to the water without leaving the property. Above the garage is the Bunkroom, reminiscent of a ship’s crew quarters, where eight people can sleep comfortably with the luxury of two bathrooms. Enjoy our small sandy beach, play yard games on the vast lawn or a game of pool or ping pong in the gorgeous party barn. With a full bar and plenty of room to dance and play, the barn is the perfect place for friends and family to hang out or to host a wedding or party. Although the quaint town of Boothbay Harbor is just 3 miles away with lovely restaurants and fun excursions, many of our guests rarely venture off the property. Herons Landing is the perfect place to enjoy Maine’s beauty with family and friends.
