Oceanside Nantucket style cottage at Maushop Village located on sought after Milestone Way! Just steps to the ocean, this beautifully appointed beach cottage is one of the few larger units in the village and has been recently updated and decorated. Enjoy the welcoming first floor showcasing a fully-applianced kitchen with new expanded breakfast island seating open to the living area. The dining area includes a new cottage style table and chairs with a sideboard (stocked with games and LL Bean beach towels). A new fully renovated 1/2 bath, and a newly decorated bedroom with a full size bed completes the first floor.
The second floor includes a master bedroom (king size bed) with full-bath, walk in shower, and washer/dryer. A new iron/board, hair dryer, and new LL Bean bath towels are provided for your convenience. Enjoy peek views of the ocean from the master bedroom and open stairway!
Two large brick patios are accessed from the main level. The front patio welcomes you with a new bistro table, chairs and umbrella set, along with additional seating to enjoy the morning sun. A dining set for 6 with a large umbrella on a semi-private rear patio and new gas grill makes your outdoor dining experience complete.
A mini cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys and new LLBean beach towels make spending time at the beach delightful! If needed, a ceiling fan in the master bedroom help cool things off, along with a portable fan and portable AC unit located in the master bedroom.
New Blu-Ray DVD players and a collection of family movies are yours to enjoy on those days when you care to stay in and relax. Cable TV (in the living room) and Wi-Fi are available for your use.
Enjoy beautiful sunny warm days along with pleasant cool evenings aided by breezes off the Nantucket sound. A short stroll to the water provides views of Nantucket Sound and, on clear nights, glimpses of the lights of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. When you are not taking in the sun at the beach, the multitude of walking trails, bike trails and meandering private roads will add to your enjoyment of this quaint Nantucket style village. You can venture off to neighboring public beaches or simply enjoy our private deeded beach - unique to any of the villages in Cape Cod!
The Marketplace (within walking distance) offers miniature golf, shopping, bike rentals, coffee shop, convenience store, and several casual dining restaurants. Located at the Marketplace is the Raw Bar, voted best in New England for Lobster Rolls! Free live music concerts are enjoyed Thursday through Sunday during the summer season where outside dancing is enjoyed by young and old alike! The famous Mashpee Commons is just a 10 minute drive offering grocery stores, great restaurants, liquor store, shops, bowling, and a movie theater. Falmouth/Woods Hole and Hyannis are just a 25 minute drive away offering additional shops, restaurants, and ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
