This charming modern flat is close to the high energy bustle of Bar Harbor ( 15 minutes by car ) and the quiet solitude of sandy beaches (a walkable 1/3 mile away) and wood hikes (nearest carriage road is 1 mile away ) Entrance to Acadia National Park is one mile away, and Jordan Pond is less than 2 miles away. The beautiful and scenic Little Long Pond is 1 mile away.
Blue Lobster was built in 2017. It sits on the ground level of a 1920's bungalow. There is an abundance of natural light. The owners (my husband and I) live one floor above. And while you may hear our foot steps at times, your privacy is assured, and neither of us are bothered by children's natural boisterous play.
Blue Lobster has its own private entrance off a classic pea gravel patio. The flat has a propane gas fireplace in the living room, central heating and air, and a shiny new kitchen and bath. Stainless appliances include a Smeg range and Bosch dishwasher and refrigerator. A new Restoration Hardware couch and reclaimed mid-century chairs define the cozy living room. A large desk has USB enhanced plugs and a child-friendly art making space. Wifi is available and Cable tv is in place. Dining is done at a counter height island or outside on the ipe built deck with large teak dining table and propane grill in the backyard.
There are two Bedrooms , one with a queen mattress, the other with two twins. Bed Mattresses are by Lull, and made of premium gel-infused memory foam. Airy open closets are included in both bedrooms. The bath has a large shower with a rainfall shower head and a second hand held hand shower head. A new washer/dryer combo is located in the bath. Plenty of new soft bath towels are available, as well as beach towels Beach chairs are available to use. No smoking or pets allowed.
