Welcome to our delightful island home off Casco Bay! This is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath home in a wonderful neighborhood, just past "Wicked Cornah". There are ocean views from almost every window, and a large deck overlooking the bay, facing due west, for spectacular sunsets! Two bedrooms have queen beds, one has an extra-long twin, and the living room features a very comfortable queen sleeper for extra guests. There is laundry in the large full bath, and the kitchen is beautifully appointed and a pleasure to cook in. Watch the ferries pass by from the cozy breakfast nook, and enjoy cocktails on the deck during not-to-be-missed island sunsets. Sea glass hunting just across the street or at one of the many other hidden coves and glorious beaches is a must. Walking and biking are joys on the island, with nature trails, starry skies and moonlit nights. The home is also equipped with family games, wifi and a television for streaming, should you choose. The island is home to some 250 year round residents and features a primary school with a terrific public library and playground, tennis courts, pottery studio and community center. There are two island stores with limited grocery staples. You can travel to the island by ferry or water taxi and freight your groceries with you, or you can shop at the local Whole Foods, which will package and deliver your groceries for a nominal fee, 6 days a week. There are 2 businesses that offer golf cart rentals on island, which we highly recommend for making the most of your island vacation. Bringing your own car is an option with a barge reservation, which is tide dependent, but definitely doable and can be a fun and unique experience as well. Welcome and enjoy!
