Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: My husband and I are from out of state, and this was a great, affordable hotel to stay at over the holidays while visiting my family. I was able to use the Wi-Fi for work, which was very convenient. The breakfast was excellent, I especially loved that they offered a turkey sausage option, which is rare to find these days. I loved my room, great bathroom, I would have preferred a shower instead of a tub, but they did have tub grips on the floor of the tub which was helpful. The staff were incredibly attentive, pleasant, and helpful.

Negative: 1. We had a great two-day stay. I may return in the summer, but the softness of the beds was a drawback. The beds were very plush and soft. I requested additional pillows which helped a bit. An upgrade in bed are needed. 2. Also a non-guest entered the hotel looking for food, and the front desk staff had to handle the situation without proper security. While I understand the need for compassion, having two female staff members escort the man outside felt unsafe for both staff and guests. Fortunately, he was not aggressive and eventually left on his own. I recommend a security officer at the entrance.

Summary: Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
