Summary: The room was very nice! The staff was super fun and accommodating. The town of Boothbay Harbor was the cutest town I've ever seen! If our room at Greenleaf Inn advertised on VRBO as a bed in breakfast, I'd be giving them 5 stars. However, on VRBO the listing was very misleading! It showed us staying in the "main house" with living room, kitchen and room. Nowhere in the listing did it say the kitchen and living room were shared. I was most excited about the rooftop deck. I was fine with that being shared. However it seemed we were discouraged from spending time up there as it was not included on the tour and when we were up there, our host really wanted us to join the group campfire. All other areas were also highly encouraged. The listing also said it had laundry available. We packed acording this accommodation. I called to ask about it and was given the local laundromat information. I told them the listing mentioned laundry facilities. They told me they were currently washing our room linen. I said it was no rush and that the next day would work. They repeated the info for laundry mat in town. If I'd known it was more of a bed and breakfast situation, I would have booked elsewhere. Many people love this setting and if this were their preference, I highly recommend. However I talk with people for a living and prefer my vacations with just my family.
