Inside the Guest House
Experience sustainable living with an eco-friendly latex queen size bed adorned with a luxurious down quilt and 100% cotton sheets. Discover artisanal charm with handmade tiles, stained glass accents and vintage furnishings all set against the backdrop of beams and wood sourced from our own property.
Quench your thirst with water supplied by a pristine mountain stream. The Kitchen is equipped with a 2 burner propane stovetop, toaster oven, french press, kettle, and Berkley water filter. There is a 2.2 cu.ft. fridge with a .9 cu. ft. freezer provided , as well as all the necessary culinary amenities.
Also provided is a spacious hand tiled shower with a sink area and a meticulously maintained, well ventilated outhouse with electricity and sink.
Outside the Guest House
Step out onto a private patio, perfect for stargazing, enjoy the warmth and ambience of a wood fired fire pit and grill. Unwind with a book and take in the views of the surrounding hillside and the North Thompson River Valley and farming community below.
The Guesthouse is a short 2-3 minute uphill walk through flower gardens and a forest path from your parking area at the Main house. Your luggage and provisions will be delivered via solar powered golf cart upon check in. Explore the gardens, featuring over 100 fruit trees, buzzing honey bees, berry patches, vibrant flower and vegetable gardens, all lovingly cultivated using organic methods. Sample the bounty of our gardens with complimentary seasonal delights as they become available. This is an active working farm ,so expect to see us out and about during your stay. For leisurely entertainment indulge in Badminton or Croquet.
Join us for a tour of our gardens where we'll gladly share our horticultural knowledge with you, or we can point you in the right direction for a hike or adventure. If you'd rather unwind in peace, we'll honour your privacy and let you enjoy your tranquil retreat undisturbed.
