Harrington Cove Cottage is located on 150 feet of shorefront between Tenants Harbor Village and Spruce Head. Recently renovated, this two-bedroom, one-bath cottage offers a fantastic escape. Think classic retreat meets modern design – all situated to take full advantage of the gorgeous views. The cottage has a large deck, along with a private dock that allows kayaking or canoeing at appropriate tides. It's also an exceptional location for birding aficionados. Cormorants, loons, several varieties of ducks, herons, ospreys, and bald eagles are among the species that are frequently seen here. Harbor seals can also be observed at times from the dock as they pursue schools of fish in the cove.
This property boasts many windows and natural light and is outfitted with vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, hardwood and tile floors, and an open floor plan. Touted by recent guests as the “perfect getaway”, Harrington Cove Cottage provides room for all! There is a full bathroom, as well as a full-sized washer and dryer for added convenience.
The cottage is private and peaceful so that you can get away from it all but has modern necessities such as free WiFi and television that make it easy to get back in touch if need be. The cottage also offers a heating/cooling pump to keep you comfortable in any season. A generator for emergency (although very rare) power outages during winter storms. The propane fireplace sets the ambiance for a romantic evening or to simply cozy up with a good book in any season.
Not only is Harrington Cove a perfect way to spend summer in Maine, but the holidays are also spectacular as well. Just after Thanksgiving join the community in celebrating the kick-off to the Holiday Season with the lighting of the Lobster Trap Christmas Tree and the Festival of Lights parade in Rockland, Maine.
