Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The house is spacious, and the location is only an hour from Dubai. The parking area is covered. The rooms have good AC and blackout curtains, and beds were very comfy. The house has 4 toilets and separate areas for sink and showers. The property has lots of potential. But lots of small details added could make a difference.

Negative: The staff in charge of the house didn't speak any English, so it was hard to communicate, ask for small things, or even call, or WhatsApp was impossible. There was not a proper place for BBQ, they have a small one, and the grill was really dirty. We had to clean it thoroughly. There were no towels, shower gel, or shampoo provided at all. We found cockraches in the pool and the kitchen. We rented the house thinking the indoor pool would be better because it would be cooler, but it was the opposite. There are only 2 AC units in the pool area, and they were off when we arrived; even though we waited for a couple of hours, it never cooled down. The grass in the football field wasn't taken care of properly. They asked for a deposit in cash a few hours before the checkin, which I'm not sure is allowed. But it was too late to find another, plus the amount paid for the booking was already deducted from my credit card. It was impossible to access the WIFI. I asked the owner and told me I had to find the router on top of the kitchen drawers, which was like 3 meters tall. Something as simple as having a picture of the user name and the password for the guest would be appreciated!!
